Management Update
We’re delighted to announce that Dave Crossman, General Manager of Custom Power in the UK, has been promoted to Global VP & General Manager. He will now take operational responsibility for the worldwide Custom Power business, covering the facilities in Crewkerne and Newcastle in the UK as well as Fountain Valley in the US. Dave will continue to drive a unified global strategy, focused on accelerated growth and enhanced customer value.
This allows Brian Goodman, current COO of the Custom Power business in Fountain Valley, to move into a more strategic role as Chief Corporate Development Officer & General Counsel, USA for the Solid State group.
These changes align with Solid State’s vision to further expand Custom Power while seamlessly connecting its global operations, reflecting similar ambitions for other divisions across the Solid State group.
Matthew Richards continues in his role as Managing Director for Custom Power and also Steatite, delivering steady and cohesive group-wide leadership. He maintains his position on the board of Solid State plc.
Solid State Group Appoints Stephen Brown as Chief Sales Officer – USA Operations, to Drive Strategic Growth in the USA
Solid State Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Brown as Chief Sales Officer – USA Operations (CSO – USA Ops). In this role, Stephen will lead the company’s efforts to enhance its sales approach and customer engagement model in the USA, focusing on expanding market presence and strengthening industry partnerships.
With a proven track record in sales leadership, business growth, and strategic planning, Stephen brings deep expertise in building high-performing teams and driving measurable success. His leadership will be instrumental in positioning Solid State Group for sustained growth and innovation.
