What is an ATEX battery?
An ATEX battery pack is specifically designed to conform to IECEx Standards.
IECEx QAR is designed to ensure that equipment that is for use in potentially explosive atmospheres is designed and manufactured to the highest possible safety standards thereby offering increased levels of protection to operators.
Custom ATEX Battery Packs
Design, certification and manufacture of batteries is a critical part of developing equipment intended for use in hazardous areas. Custom Power UK has an IECEx QAR certified manufacturing system to the following protection concepts: Ex i, Ex m and Ex e in compliance to ISO/IEC 80079-34.
Our ATEX/IECEx battery experience shortens development and testing time, providing assistance with battery design, component selection and integration into the end product, ready for release to mass production in our UK-based manufacturing site.
